Mary Hayden
Scheduling Coordinator
Mary Hayden’s life journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others. Born and raised in Maryland, she has always been driven by a deep sense of purpose and a desire to help those around her.
Mary’s educational journey began at Mount St. Mary’s University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. But, as often in life, she traveled down an unexpected path which led her to dentistry. It was here where she could still provide essential services and care directly to individuals.
With a heart full of compassion and a desire to learn, Mary immersed herself in dentistry. Over the course of five years, she honed her skills and expertise, working in both larger dental practices with multiple associates and smaller, more intimate settings. Her versatility allowed her to excel in various aspects of dentistry, from handling insurance matters to leading team-building initiatives and facilitating crucial meetings.
One of the aspects Mary finds most challenging about her work is the ever-changing array of personalities she encounters each day. Her ability to adapt and her strong communication skills have served her well in navigating these diverse interactions.
While her professional life has taken her to different corners of Maryland, including Western Maryland and Anne Arundel and Baltimore Counties, Mary’s personal interests are equally diverse. She’s an avid traveler who revels in exploring new places, with a preference for the tranquility of the mountains over the bustling beach. Museums, concerts, thrift store adventures, and yoga sessions all find a place in her heart.
Mary’s friends describe her as funny, loyal, and principled, qualities that undoubtedly shine through in both her personal and professional life. She’s a good listener, a skill she values just as much as the ability to express herself, making her a trusted confidante to many.
And like many of us, Mary has her guilty pleasure: reality TV, particularly the offerings on Bravo. It’s a lighthearted escape from the demands of her busy life, and a reminder that even the most dedicated professionals have their indulgent moments.
If Mary hadn’t pursued a career in dentistry, she would have undoubtedly continued on her path as an educator, shaping young minds and instilling the same principles of compassion and care that define her character.

Yaneiry
Dental Assistant
Yani received her education at Howard Community College, where she took courses in dental assisting and radiology. She is dedicated to continuing her education in the field. Yani’s passion for oral health stems from her belief in its importance for overall health and her personal experience with dental work, particularly the difference between a bad filling and a great one. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Yani has also lived in Hyattsville, and currently resides in Columbia, MD, which she loves. Recently, her son’s excitement at seeing airplanes at an airplane park brought a smile to her face. Yani is skilled at cooking, and her friends describe her as caring, a good mom, and dedicated.
Her interests include running, being outdoors, gardening, cooking, traveling, and thrifting. On weekends, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, going to church, and being outdoors. Her guilty pleasures include eating anything with lime or lemon and riding roller coasters.
Yani is a devoted mother to her son, loves learning new things despite challenges, is married, loves plants, and enjoys painting. If she hadn’t pursued dentistry, she would have become an ultrasound technician.
